Mother's Day 2009

We left Willcox this morning after having spent some good time with our friends Pat and Georgianna.  We ate dinner in Benson, AZ last nightat an interesting  Greek, Italian, American family restaurant.  I had the special, moussaka and chicken parmesan.  It was enough food for all four of us.  Fortunately I like leftovers so I'll have lunches for the rest of the week.

We are now in Las Cruses for the night.  We drove to El Paso this evening for dinner with my sister Mary and her family.  Larry cooked some delicious steaks on the grill.   In the morning we leave for Santa Rosa.  The goal is to be home on May 18th.

Enjoyed talking to all my children today.  John gave me a card and roses.  Also appreciated all the Mother's Day greetings from others.  It's been a good day.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
