Babies walk

Margaret reports on the first walk "It was such a beautiful day today!  It was hard to resist the urge to go for a walk.  After my afternoon nap, (thanks Judy) Erick and I decided it was time for a family outing.  So we started the feeding routine.  That took an hour or so.  Callum still doesn't eagerly wake for his feedings.  Then it was time to get them dressed.  what to wear?  We had outfits out from yesterday's aborted attempt at a walk so they would do just fine.  I got Callum dressed and ready to go and Lily decided she was still hungry!  Time for a little formula!  We pulled out the stroller and figured out that even though it is a stroller for two the car seats don't fit quite as perfectly as I'd like but they were secure. (Mom's biggest concern.)  Callum was ready to go and in place.  Lily finally finished up and we got her in the seat and mounted in the stroller ready to go.  Mom needed a hat and something warmer to wear.  Funny how my outfit and whether it coordinated or not didn't even play a factor in the decision!  Just throw it on!
By this time it had been another hour or so.  Determined, we headed out into the darkness!  Yes by now the sun had completely gone down.  We walked down the street to the corner then turned around and came back to the other corner and back home.
Two hours of preparation for a two minute walk.  It was fabulous!  And the twins were styling!

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
