Christmas Dinner

First I'd like to thank those of you who sent Christmas cards.  It was hard enough to get in the Christmas spirit but those helped decorate the trailer.  Next year John plans to get a tree as he missed it.  I have no idea where he'll put it if it's more than 6 " high!

We started out our celebration by chatting with the Indiana contigent.  Then a visit to Lily and Callum.

We made it back home in time for a pitch-in dinner with some of our neighbors in the doggie end of the park.  As you can tell by looking, animal people look younger and are friendlier.  I forgot to put the memory stick back in my camera so you are only getting a few of them in pictures. In the first picture are 3 people from Canada and 1 (Paige, with her back to us) from Washington state. Margaret, on the left, works part time as a nurse, Sue, at the back, is an avid bingo player and Paige, is a yarn nut from what I hear, including spinning , etc.

I don't know where all the people in this pic are from but Gail (in green) and her husband spend their summers at the park near Platte City, Mo where we had a reunion with our Air Force friends.  Sue (in blue) and her husband (standing) summer in Arkansas.

The guy sitting in the front is Dave (Paige's husband).  I've seen him watching the skies with his telescope.  The guy in the red shirt in the back looks familiar.  I think he's the one who takes Abby and Chauncy for a walk every day.

Blue hat guy is Gail's husband.  The young boy is not a resident of the park but is visiting his parents.

We miss all of our friends and family but are enjoying the 'warmer' temps in AZ.  Only up to 50' today so we are huddled in with our blankets and hot toddies.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
