Ellis Kansas

Boyhood home of John Weichert (and Walter P Chrysler).  Now we can begin the process of unloading the HO train layout from the back of the Suburban.  The dogs will be so happy not to have to ride in the front seat anymore.  Jane will be so happy when she can shop for books and not be limited by what she can carry in her lap.  We had a few mishaps along the way.  Nothing major, just things like a broken chimney, a gutter that fell off, etc.  All fixable with some glue and patience.

Sam called today wondering why our phone called her phone, in the middle of her class.  Panicked her until she got out of class and called us back.  She was relieved that our phone was just missing her.  And thankful that she had the sound turned off.  We'll try to make the phone behave better in the future!

Finished the Emotionally Weird book by Kate Atkinson and it was funny but strange.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
