Railroad Museum

We delivered the layout that John built today.  Everyone was delighted with all his hard work.  They even sent over someone from the local paper to interview him about the project.  Okay, it's just the Ellis Review but I'm sure it will be picked up by AP or UPI and he will be getting calls from Martha Stewart wanting to know all about it!!

I checked out the local thrift shop and found a few books that will be shipped home to Amy to sell on line.  Also found a Edward Abbey book to save for my cousin in Haiti.  He has some really interesting stories to tell.

I70 has gates on all the entrance ramps so they can easily close the highway in case of bad snow storms.  Something we don't see in Arizona or Indiana.  Reminds us that we need to keep heading south.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
