Birthday 2010

Now with facebook, everyone knows when my birthday is.  Unless you aren't on fb and then one friend even sent an e-mail to my Indy bookclub friends telling them it was my birthday.  Since we are three hours behind, I woke up to a large number of Happy Birthday wishes.  Really quite a pleasant feeling.  Also received e-mails and phone calls from friends and family.  What a way to start the day.  Then we went for a walk in the beautiful Arizona sunshine.

After water aerobics in the morning and book club in the afternoon, I went to dinner with a group of friends from the park where we live.  I indulged my self with some raspberry stuffed mushrooms, a plate of jalapeno and cilantro flavored humus (shared with the rest of the group) followed by a grilled chicken sandwich with a dirty martini.  Paige made me a new bracelet, my children sent money for a new iPhone, the cards were hilarious that I received (do your boobs hang low.......well yes).  A most wonderful day.  Think I'll stay 69 forever.
