Shoes

Worn out after walking around in shoes
Lily loves shoes.  Her major occupation in life is to try on different shoes and walk around in them.  She watches how her feet look in shoes.  She has also gotten in trouble at day care because she takes her shoes off constantly.  So Margaret and Erick were told that she has to wear shoes that she can't take off easily.  Do you realize how many kids shoes are held with velcro?  Finally they found a pair of Mary Jane's that buckle.

Lily has red cowboy boots, red sparkly shoes like Dorothy's in The Wizard of Oz, sandels with pink fur, tennis shoes that sparkle, regular tennis shoes, numerous pairs of sandels.  Margaret had to buy a shoe tree to hang over the door to keep all of Lily's shoes and there still enough room.  And this child is under 2 years old!

Callum and his phones
Callum, on the other hand, only cares about electronic equipment.  He came to visit yesterday and was in heaven as we let him have 3 phones to play with.  (Sometime if you get a call from me and no one is talking, it's probably Callum).  He spent over an hour 'talking' on the phones, often one on each ear, and looking at them, arranging them, putting them in my pocket and taking them out, etc.  He managed to call his Mom once using speed dial.  She was aware of what probably happened and talked to him while he sat there smiling and nodding his head.  One phone is 'broke' but he doesn't care.

Her is a thought, dip her feet in warm tar and then stand her on a bed of small round bebbles. Once the tar sets she will have excellent shoes with should last a season which won't come off. Or not.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
