Mothers Day 2010

A relaxed pleasant weekend.  Saturday was spent getting a pedicure with my daughter and then watching the twins play followed by a good supper at Margaret and Erick's house.  Erick's Dad brought me flowers.

Sunday morning John fixed me breakfast.  It brings back memories of children bringing me breakfast in bed and snuggling around me while I ate.  Those were good times.  Then hearing from my family - Carson via facebook, Sam texting, the twins and Margaret and Erick via Skype, and John and Amy via moble phones.  It's quite amazing how technology has enabled us to stay closer in touch.

After lunch with friends we had a quiet evening including several Skype sessions with the twins.  They are fascinated with computers and would laugh and wave at the images of Mimi and Papaw.

I feel loved and appreciated.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
