Sam is an Alpha Phi

Sam had an emotional week last week as she went through rush at Butler.  I can remember that from my own college days.  She ended up getting invited by both her first and second choices and went with her first choice, Alpha Phi.  As you can see in the pictures, she is a happy camper.  I don't know who the other people are in any of the pictures, but whether it's relief that it's all over or pleased with the results, they all look delighted.

I am also pleased that another Alpha Phi is the daughter of a friend of mine, Sam Maraldo.  Her daughter Toni is a sophmore.  So Sam and I im'd about how thrilled we are.  I hadn't seen Sam for several years as she lives in St. Louis but, thanks to facebook, we discovered the connection between Toni and my Samantha.  It is a small world.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
