Merry Christmas 2009

We spent a wonderful day with the twins watching them as they played with their new toys.  They love everything and I wouldn't be able to name one as a favorite.  Santa brought the blow up thingie full of plastic balls which is great fun to climb in and out of.  He also brought a rocking horse.  Both items required some assembly.  Since the babies kept waking up during the night, Santa arrived while they were taking their morning nap.  They were so wound up that the afternoon nap was delayed.   Mimi and Papaw received their present when Lily greeted us saying "mimi" and "papaw".

When our children were young, their grandmother sent them posters of Where The Wild Things Were.  So they grew up loving this book and the pictures.  Margaret couldn't resist buying Amy, Jake, Carson and Sam t-shirts with the wild things pictures for Christmas.  Amy sent a picture of the three of them.  We haven't seen a photo of Sam yet but are looking forward to receiving one.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
