Maryland

We finally made it to Maryland to a KOA in Williamsport.  Last night was spent in Zanesville, Ohio.  It was our first night on the road after loading up our trailer.  The list of things we forgot to bring keeps expanding.  One good thing about having a short trip before our long journey to Arizona for the winter is that it allows us to find out what all those things are.  Nothing critical, unless you consider watching TV as an essential part of your daily life.  We found a wonderful radio station and reenacted our childhood memories of sitting around in the evening and listening to the radio.  Our campground didn't have WIFI so we also were reduced to playing solitaire and other games on the PC instead of surfing the interent.  Thanks to the iPhone, we weren't totally cut off from civilization.

Tonight we have cable and WIFI but are also enjoying the beautiful setting.  The weather is balmy tonight so are enjoying the fall weather.  Tomorrow we get together with John's family as we celebrate the wedding of his great-niece this weekend.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
