Carson's Spring Break Day 2

It was a beautiful day so we decided to drive to Tortilla Flats for lunch.  The drive is beautiful but full of narrow twisting roads up a mountain.  Along the way we saw where they were trying to recover a car which had missed a curve.  Quite sobering and not surprising to hear that the driver didn't survive.  I didn't have to ask John once to slow down for the rest of the drive.

These saguaro cactus are amazing to see.  They are quite old and are protected here. This one is located on the grounds of the Superstition Mountain museum.

After all that driving Carson and I decided it was time for her first pedicure.  A must in a climate where sandals are worn almost all year.  She knows now why we love it so.

And then we had to check out another mall.  This girl has money burning a hole in her pocket.  It is a cute shirt.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
