Listen to the Young

This is Callum all ready to go to the doctor.  He can't wait to tell about spitting up all over his Grammies clothes.  Such a fun day.
Lily doesn't care where she goes as long as she can sleep.  And as long as she looks beautiful, which she does.

Carolyn Heilbrun says that when you are old you should spend time with the young and listen to them.  We spent the morning with Callum and Lily and then shared our new-found knowledge with the Turpins and Mary Beth Riner.  Here is a picture of (l-r) Margaret T, Jane and Mary Beth taken at MacAlpines old-fashioned soda fountain.  How times have changed.  Once upon a time we would have been ordering malts and sundaes.  Now we order tuna salad and cottage cheese with water to drink.

Margaret is recovering nicely from her surgery and they plan to leave in a week or so for Yuma, AZ.  We hope to make it to a knit shop before she goes.  Mary Beth is on a plane for Indy and 13' weather.  But she had a nice break and got to do lots of sightseeing.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
