It was quite a parade today with 3 middle school bands, 2 high school bands, a fly over of airplanes, horses, old cars, etc. It lasted about an hour and there was quite a crowd in attendence. It probably took us 2-3 minutes to get out of the parking lot. Of course we stayed until it was over so had to contend with the rush. As I am used to having to get to parades early in Indy to get a good view, I probably overdid it by pushing us to get there an hour early. Had the streets not been blocked off, I might have thought the parade had been cancelled and left for home. Can't quite get used to this small town living.
Baby Orr update: The twins are about 4lbs 8 oz each now. (Don't ask me how they can tell that.) The doctor says they may decide to come a little earlier than the planned Dec. 18th date. Sam is pulling for her birthday on Dec. 12th. It's possible. Since the doc will be out of town for the week of Thanksgiving, we hope they don't come too early. The girl has shifted from her breech position and is head down and ready for liftoff (or liftout). The boy is taking his time but she'll get him whipped into shape before long.
