Bisbee, AZ

We drove down to Bisbee today.  It's an old mining town built on the side of a mountain.  This shows the big hole in the ground where they dug for copper.  We didn't do much walking around as there is not a flat place in town.  John took the dogs for a little walk.

There are a lot of familiar names to those of us who used to watch westerns on Saturday afternoon such as Tombstone and Cochise. There seem to be plenty of cowboys still walking the streets of these old towns.  We stopped in Tombstone for lunch and tried a buffalo burger.  John tried out the sasparilla to drink.  They also had a big buffalo head hanging from the wall.  I hope he was dead.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
