Fall Festival

It's a wonderful time of year in Arizona.  The weather has cooled down but is still comfortable.  The snowbirds start arriving from the north.  So the planned activities increase dramatically.  We took the twins to a farm festival geared for the little ones this weekend.  They loved it.  Lily rode in a pedal driven (by grandpa) racecar.  They petted a donkey, admired the geese and pigs, jumped on a huge bounce slide and milked a fake cow.  The only disappointment was the lack of live ponies to ride.  There were only the blow up ones.  But the twins were happy.

I bought a few things from the farmer's market including some roasted chilies which were marvelous on a hamburger the next day.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
