Irish Festival

With our new green shirts, we rode with the Orrs to the Irish festival at a park in Phoenix.  The big hit with the kids was the petting zoo.  They got to pet goats, rabbits, hold a chicken, pet a donkey, watch a duck swim in a 2 foot wide plastic pool and get up close and personal with a lot of animals.  Lily also rode a horse, twice.  She looked quite at ease up there all by herself.  That child is fearless.  The grownups also drank beer (isn't that what an Irish fest is all about) and the listened to some music.  I resisted the urge to buy kilts for everyone.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
