Pine-Strawberry Festival

It was expected to hit 108' today in Phoenix.  So Margaret & Erick and the twins thought it would be good to head north.  We stopped at an arts and crafts festival in Pine, Arizona.  It was hot but only 98' so was manageable.  The highlight of the trip was a new pair of flip flops for Lily.  She loves her shoes and I think she must have at least 40 pairs.  (Maybe a slight exaggeration)  Her big problem is that she only has one pair that she can wear to school.  She also likes to remove her shoes and they don't like her to do that at school.  Are you aware of how many shoes for toddlers are held together with velcro.  Margaret finally found a pair that actually buckle.  So those are her school shoes.  Her mother also loved shoes and would go to bed clutching new shoes. Lily does the same.

We came back to the travel trailer and the kids enjoyed our toy box which was created when they were much younger.  Lily also had to try on Grandpas' hat.  Grandpa enjoys indulging her as he always has done with his grandchildren.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
