We finally made it to Arizona. In the past month we've traveled through 12 states (even a corner of Texas and Oklahoma are counted). So we've seen beautiful fall weather in Maryland, rainy cold weather in Missouri, windy weather in Kansas and finally - warm sunshiny weather in Arizona.
We were also struck by the different road signs you see in the different states. Signs in Kansas warned us to watch out for motorcycles. In New Mexico rattlesnakes seem to be a problem at rest areas. Chauncy and Abby complained about the stickers in the grass from Kansas westward.
I always have a book that I'm reading as we travel. Now my book is The Poe Shadow by Matthew Pearl. It takes place in Baltimore, Maryland in 1849. I get lost in the tale so it is quite disconcerting to look up and find myself in the current southwest. I feel I should be reading a Tony Hillerman mystery.
We are currently in Willcox, AZ where some friends live. Our plan is to leave for Apache Junction on Wednesday. There the big challenge will be to back the trailer into our new site. Or the big challenge will be to get it all cleaned up.

You know you'll have a dozen guys out there helping get you parked - no problems.
Counting on it!
Currently the space across the road from yours is open so it will be easy.
Don't get here too early! Wednesday is my day at the yarn store, I'll come back early of course.... in time for cocktails- oh wait, you'll be getting a 'baby fix'- Thursday then ok? p
