Labor Day Weekend

My Three Children

Margaret and Erick and the twins arrived on Saturday for a visit. So we all met at Pat Flynn's for dinner. I don't often get pictures of them all together any more so enjoyed this evening.
We had an open house on Sunday so that Margaret and Erick's friends could meet the twins. The babies cooperated and arranged it so that at least one was awake all the time. I enjoyed this picture of Jake holding Lily and Sam holding Callum. The cousins had fun together.
Sonnie and Erin brought Joey to meet the twins. Joey is 12 days younger. Sonnie and I were in a race to see who had new grandchildren first. I won! This picture was taken before Lily decided to beat up on Joey. She started swinging. He was amazed that someone would invite you to a party and then hit you. The twins didn't learn that from their grandparents! Callum was fascinated by this new acquaintance.
Margarets friend Ericka brought over her daughter Beatrice (Bee) to the party. Bee is 3 years old and I think Lily out weighs her.

We had lots of friends who came and enjoyed seeing them although not enough time to get all our visiting done with everyone. And we missed those who were unable to come. So far the only problem has been adjusting to a strange sleeping environment and with colds and stuffy noses, sleep has been difficult.

The twins are so adorable. It is hard to believe how much they have grown - cute pictures

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
