Books

These are the 9 boxes of art books that Margaret needs to take home with her. They are stacked in the hall and ready to go.

Margaret inherited my mother's collection of art books. We've been storing them for years but in our current downsizing mode, we boxed them up and they are ready to find a new home. Mom loved these books and developed a course in art appreciation for the Plainville schools.

Speaking of my mother, I just received word about the latest recipient of the Pick Evans Scholarship. Every year a small amount is given to a college bound graduate to help with buying their books from a fund set up in Mom's name. It seemed appropriate as she loved books and loved teaching. I get a thank you note from the recipient and they seem very grateful. So I'd like all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to know that she is remembered in Plainville.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
