We then stopped in at Pat Flynn's for a bite of lunch and saw his mom.
It was then off to Castleton to look for an adaptor for his microphone. Nothing like having grandparents who are willing to drive you all afternoon. Radio Shack didn't have it but a stop at Sam Ash was successful.
Then we stopped at an art supplies store. In spite of my encouraging him to look around, he quickly found the calligraphy pens he wanted and said he was finished. So then we headed home. He laid out all his goodies on the back seat so I could take a picture. Then he loaded up (don't know how he manages walking with all that load on his back.) and left us, not broke, and with that warm fuzzy feeling that always comes after spending time with our grandchildren
