The Beautiful and the Ugly

It's always a thrill to take a break and walk out to the pond and find a new water lily. It's not as spectactular as the water lily garden in France where Monet purchased his lilies, but it thrills us to see our very own.

Then there are other things in life which are annoying. I had the unfortunate luck to be present when a car came down the off ramp from the Interstate and didn't notice that he had a red light. I hit the brakes but still caught the tail of his car with the front of mine. A big nuisance as far as I'm concerned.

Fortunately he was insured and stopped and talked to the police when they arrived. My blood pressure was a little high so am spending the day contemplating the lily and relaxing.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
