Music and Art

The Talbott Street Art Fair was today. Loads of people in the neighborhood. Our son had a booth displaying his iron work and his friend Randy's chain mail and wood working. It turned out to be a beautiful day. We spent the afternoon sitting on the porch watching novices trying to parallel park on the street in front of our house. James and Kerry joined us on the porch for a while and Sam and a friend dropped by. Delightful day.

Sam's band played at the Teen Music and Art Festival in a local park today. They have a great sound and we enjoy listening to the music. She plays the guitar in the picture below. They had the crowd dancing and clapping to the music. There's a picture of her friends who gathered to congratulate the band after their great performance. Grandpa also collected a hug. The last picture is of them on stage.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
