More family

Went to lunch with granddaughter Samantha and daughter-in-law Sandy. We went to Cheesecake Factory. The food was good but the dessert was exceptional. I ordered an apple crisp cheesecake that we all shared. Delicious.
We stopped by their house today and John David had been busy in the blacksmith shop. John needed a special tool for stripping the paint around the windows in the dining room. Walls have all been stripped of wallpaper, half the ceiling has been stripped and most of the woodwork is done. We picked out our wallpaper but want to remeasure before ordering. It's beginning to look like we will get it done before the Orrs arrive in September. However, no friends have shown up at our door begging to help. Ah well, I wouldn't want to stay in this mess either.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
