Dinner with friends

Nick and Holly came over for dinner. Or rather brought most of the dinner.  Nick's speciality is stuffed grape leaves (his Lebonese heritage).  I've been hinting about how much I'd like to try them.  So he made them on Sunday night and brought them over.  They were delicious.  I stuffed myself.  Now to persuade him to give me the recipe.  He's reluctant but Holly is encouraging him to share.

I provided a salad with the blood orange dressing.  Everyone wants the recipe for the dressing so here it is.  1/2 cup blood orange olive oil, 3 tbsp white wine vinegar, 1/3 tsp vanilla extract,  1/2 tsp spicy brown mustard, salt and pepper,  1/2 tsp dried oregano.  Mix well.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
