Libraries

I received this information lately.

"Results from a recently completed survey by the State Library of Kansas and the Kansas Library Association confirms that a national trend holds true for Kansas:  public library use is booming!

Libraries were surveyed in February to determine circulation increases and an astonishing 19% increase was reported comparing December 2007 to December 2008. "

I certainly enjoy using the library at Apache Junction.  The mystery book club met yesterday.  We read the book Head Games by Craig McDonald.  While no one really liked that type of black humor and we felt it was more of an action novel than a mystery, we had a great discussion.  Learned something about the Skull and Bones society from Yale and also about the missing head of Pancho Villa.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
