J.Weichert Blacksmithing

Our son has set up a blacksmith shop and is creating quite unusual lizards and dragons which he sells at art fairs.  He also has a wide array of items created from iron such as plate holders, napkin rings, plant hangers, etc.  But we are most fascinated with his 'creatures'.  One little guy travels with us in the RV and protects us from evil spirits.

We have to watch or we'll end up with more 'stuff'.  So far we have a good luck bear from California who joined us on our first trip across country.  Last year we added the lizard that John made and this year we purchased a deedle by diane who invokes my spirit of loving to read.  In May we'll head for Indy and begin disposing of stuff at home that we've collected for the past 48 years.  I admire those who travel lightly but I seem to have trouble doing it.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
