Latest Books

Was feeling a little under the weather this weekend so seemed like a good time to read.  (When is it not a good time to read!)  My granddaughter Carson scored high on a reading test.  Since she hasn't been known as a particularly good student, her teacher was surprised.  Carson's response "You should see our house.  There are books everywhere.  We read all the time".

I finished a mystery by P.D.James called The Private Patient.  Her mysteries are always fun to read.  Also read Grand Ambition by Lisa Michaels.  This was chosen by Apache Junction at one time to be their choice for 'one book, one city'.  While fiction, it was based upon an actual happening.  I enjoyed it.  Now it's back to the library for a new selection as it's supposed to be a rainy week here in Arizona.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
