Food Filled Day

I started the day by having breakfast in the clubhouse - scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns and potato pancakes.  (I thought the potato pancakes was a pancake at first that was not done inside as it was made with mashed potatoes.)

Margaret and Gil Turpin joined us for lunch and an old-time radio renactment at the library.  Forgot to take my phone so I couldn't take a picture of that.   Margaret brought me a tote bag which says "When I get a little money, I buy books; and if any is left, I buy food and clothes".   The reverse side says "My best friend is a person who will give me a book I have not read".  Wonder why she thought of me.  We had lunch at Arizona Joes.

Dianne and Tim Puza invited us to check out the pizza at an Italian restaurant for dinner.  It was quite good.  John and I opted for the one with everything.  It even included anchovies.  Not something you find too often anymore.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
