Chihuly:The Nature of Glass

Chihuly's beautiful glass works fit in perfectly in the desert botannical gardens.  We visited it today with Mary Beth.  It was a beautiful day and these were incredible designs.  These few pictures don't begin to describe the scope of his work.  The yellow one is labeled the sun and the blue one behind John and Mary Beth is labeled the moon.   His work is included in more than 200 museums worldwide.  As Mary Beth said, a feast for the eyes.

The Sun looks similar in style to the exhibit at the Insianapolis Children's museum. Same artist?

I've been told that it is the same artist. It was fun to see so many different styles in one area.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
