One customer at Margaret and Erick's garage sale had fun trying on the roller blades and a witch's hat. This picture doesn't quite capture the full extent of how he looked. Sales around here start at 7 am. I didn't even know there was such a time. The only time I get up that early is on the first day of the state fair when I chase the hot air balloons with the grandchildren. John and I managed to help lug stuff out into the driveway and garage. The sale ended at noon. (Hey, it's the south, time for a siesta.) We were ready. Erick put a little sign on his bobble head of Isiaha Thomas saying it was Barack Obama. It then sold immediately. But the playboy magazines didn't even get a second glance. The last batch he sold in Indiana had people fighting over them. Hmmm. What does that say about the differences between the two places.
