Bill Johnson's Big Apple Restaurant

This was an experience although not a culinary one.  We met Margaret and Gil Turpin for lunch at this western themed place.  It's the first time I've eaten at a place where the wait staff wore guns and holsters.  You do not want to mess with them.  I'm sorry I didn't get a picture but will go back and get one at a later time.  Good basic food.  The men had patty melts, Margaret had the pulled pork sandwich and I took my daughter's advice and had a salad.  It was all good and even better was the price.  We had change from a $20.  Always good for us retired folks on a fixed income.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
