Saying Goodbye

Lots of goodbyes and wonderful food. Creme Brulee french toast was the high point.  Although other items will be remembered with fondness such as the delicious lamb at K & K's, the reubin at Center Stage Deli, the wide choices available at the Ole Settler's Reunion, chicken chili.

Now the hard work begins.  How do you pick out what clothes to take for six months and cram them into a closet the size of a locker?  I'll probably do the usual - grab a bunch of things and stuff them into the trailer.  But one thing I won't forget, plenty of books to read along the way.

About Me

We retired after years of being in the computer support business, Jane with Brulin Corp and John with Unisys. We tried tent camping but finally settled on RV living. While we are part timers now, we hope to move to becoming full-timers eventually. John works on his HO model of Ellis, KS UP railroad and Jane persues her search for used books to read and sell on Amazon. We winter in Apache Junction, AZ and summer in Indiana.
